A self initiated brief to rebrand one of my favourite restaurants in Bristol. The restaurant is a much-loved staple located within Bristol city centre therefore it was integral to keep it’s independent feel and integrity. The restaurant is humble and welcoming yet has a huge element of confidence to it, they believe in their food so much there is no menu… you get what you are served!
By utilising a light, bright and neutral colour scheme the final identity feels humble and fresh. Strong typography is used to add contrast and bring those underlying tones of confidence and knowledge throughout. Fun, loose and energetic illustrations are used to show the dynamic, almost canteen feel to the restaurant which is created through communal dining, BYOB and the opportunities to talk to new people and the chef.
